If you plan to engrave aluminum or brass, we recommend a cutting depth of ≤0.2mm per pass and a feed rate of ≤600mm/min. Upgrading to a 1.5kW spindle will yield even better results, allowing a cutting depth of ≤2mm per pass with a feed rate of ≤600mm/min.
